Yarnela 100% Baby Alpaca and Alpaca
The Alpaca is a member of the camel family, and produces a very light, soft and fine fleece. The alpaca fiber has microscopic 'airbags' that make the finished wool yarn very light in weight. Baby alpaca is the finest fiber and is as soft as cashmere, but far more durable. Washable (hand wash only). Made in Peru.
This fiber is used for exclusive garments and luxurious items. Having one of the lowest "prickle factor", it is extremely soft, gentle to the touch and can be worn right next to the skin. It makes also excellent fabric for a baby with allergies.
